As you may have already noticed, I’ve been making some changes here and there on this blog.

Buy Me An Ale!
The first change you probably have noticed is the addition of the Buy Me An Ale link. And if you’ve ever clicked on it, you may have noticed that it leads to PayPal. I know I’ve been wanting to monetize this site, and when I first learned about the Buy Me A Beer plugin for Wordpress, I thought that this would be a fun way to go about monetization.

Featured Sites
One of the more recent changes has been the addition of the Featured Sites section on the sidebar to your right. This is in fact another step towards monetization. Right now, I’ve simply placed sites that I enjoy, as well as a site done by a friend of mine. Eventually, I’ll be using it for something like Textlink Ads. However, I still have much to do before I can get to that point.

Reorganized Categories
I’ve gone through the categories and rearranged things. There’s now two new categories, D&D Software and D&D Hardware. The software category will contain articles that basically have anything to do with software as it’s related to D&D. The hardware category, while being about hardware related to D&D, does not necessarily mean computer hardware. While you may find my posts on projectors there, you’re also going to find things like wooden bowls. Meanwhile, I’ve removed the PC/Console Games category, as I only had two posts there, and they weren’t necessarily related to D&D itself. Those posts have been moved over to the Asides category instead.

I hope these new things I’ve done help you all out, especially with the rearranged categories. If you have any suggestions of other things I should do, let me know in the comments below!
