Saying Goodbye to a Close Friend

Just as a ranger or druid would have an animal companion, so have I. Unfortunately, due to his failing health, he was put down back on the 6th. And the time leading up to that had been quite hard to me, knowing that he would soon be gone.

So now I finally post this, as my own little way of saying goodbye to him. His name is Thumper, named after the thumping of his paws whenever he walked around as a puppy. And, during his later years in life, also known as Old Fart, but in an endearing way.

Thumper

Also, I owe all of you who have followed this blog a huge apology. I know I’ve completely dropped the ball, not having posted a thing for about a month. I am fully aware that in the realm of blogging, such a thing could be considered an atrocity. For that, I’m sorry.

However, not only am I saying goodbye to a long-time friend with this post, I am also breaking through a barrier of sorts. So once again, as before, I will be posting 3 times per week. I know immediately that my next post will be part of the Pillaging Your Games For D&D Material, focusing on both Rome: Total War and Medieval 2: Total War.

Thank you all for your patience, and again, I’m sorry for the rather abrupt silence on my part.

If you like this post, buy me an ale!
