Just today, Bethesda Softworks has announced the first expansion pack to The Elderscrolls IV: Oblivion. You can get more information about it here.
Now I realize that The Elderscrolls series isn’t D&D, but I feel that it still fits in with the spirit of it. Also, I have written about using the game to enhance the paper and pencil experience of D&D here. An expansion pack for Oblivion will no doubt provide even more material you can use to create environments to then show off to your D&D group during an adventure. And since this expansion will be focusing on Sheogorath’s realm in Oblivion, there ought to be plenty of interesting goodies to use.
Speaking of interesting goodies in Oblivion to use for a D&D adventure or campaign, have any of you bought any of the official plugins? And if so, have you tried using the new content granted by those to create something that would work with a D&D adventure, as I had discussed in my previous post? Tell me your thoughts in the comments section below!
