ZOMG There’s Traff… *SMACK!*

I have this image of me of crossing a street, when I suddenly notice this wall of cars suddenly barreling down on me at 65mph. Being that I’m still in the middle of the street, I’m suddenly smacked by this wall of traffic. At least, that’s how I’ve seen my weekend.

Over the weekend there’s been a huge increase in traffic, and I’m absolutely thrilled about it! Friday night I had sent out a message to all my members in the D&D Nerd.com MyBlogLog community. When I woke up Saturday morning, I was very much surprised to see over 100 page views!

So, I want to give a HUGE thank you to Ilker Yoldas of The Thinking Blog for submitting the post with a couple pictures from Anime Expo 2007 to StumbleUpon! Not only did it bring a bunch of new visitors here, but it finally got me into a bit of a marketing spree, submitting that same post to other social bookmarking sites (yes, I’m a bit of a procrastinator  ).

Page View Stats 7-9-2007

Now, of course, there’s been a steady decline since the initial spike on Saturday. But hey, this blog still got new visitors, which is just awesome!

So, to all of you who are new, welcome! :)

Sneaking Up On You…
If you’ve been around for a little while, and are rather observant, you may have noticed a couple more things change. First of all, I’ve changed the About page to focus more on what this blog is about. That then links to an Author page, which talks about me. At least that way, you can find out what this blog is about without having to read my ramble on my life.

There’s also a new Contact page that’s now available, containing a form that you can use to email me. In the past, you’d have to do quite a bit of work to figure out how to email me, since I never put up any kind of contact info initially. Now it’s nice and easy, without having to dig through WHOIS.

And finally, I’ve added my first affiliate link. But do you know where it is? I’ll give you a hint: it’s one of the featured sites. ;-)

If you like this post, buy me an ale!
